What Is Industrial Chemical Cleaning?
Fouled equipment increases costs. Each degree of lost heat transfer efficiency raises fuel and energy expenses, while unplanned shutdowns are more costly than scheduled cleaning. Industrial chemical cleaning uses reactive chemicals to remove scale, corrosion products, combustion residues, and organic fouling from heat-transfer surfaces. This process restores thermal performance, reduces energy consumption, and extends equipment life.
If left untreated, these deposits reduce thermal efficiency, restrict flow, and accelerate equipment degradation. Chemical cleaning removes them with targeted methods tailored to the material, fouling type, and operating conditions, while maintaining equipment integrity and ensuring personnel safety.
The objective is a measurable return on investment: lower operating costs, improved energy efficiency, and equipment that performs as designed.

Where It Works
We clean and restore thermal and process equipment across all major industrial sectors:
Equipment types
- Boilers (including biomass and cogeneration)
- Furnaces
- Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE), condensers, and Air-Cooled Condenser (ACC) units
- Heat exchangers
- Cooling towers
- Columns, spheres, tanks, reactors and piping systems
- Flue gas treatment systems
How It Works
Every intervention follows a structured process that ensures safety, traceability and measurable results.
- You contact us and describe your equipment, challenges, and constraints.
- We review the equipment design to identify the fouling type, materials involved, and the most suitable process.
- We conduct a site visit and provide a clear commercial proposal.
- Once approved, we schedule the intervention to align with your operations.
- Our team conducts the intervention on-site, following strict safety protocols with real-time analytical monitoring to manage and validate each stage of the cleaning process.
- We complete the job with a final inspection and sign-off. You receive a comprehensive end-of-intervention report with before-and-after performance data.

Online Cleaning: Maintain Performance Without Stopping Production
DECAMEX®
Air-side cleaning of Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE) and Air-Cooled Condensers (ACC units), online or offline. It uses a spray of fine, dry, non-abrasive, and biodegradable powder at low pressure to remove the fouling from fin surfaces that reduces airflow and degrades heat transfer efficiency.
NEUTRAMEX®
Fire-side cleaning of furnaces and boilers without production shutdown. The process sprays a residue-free, environmentally friendly chemical onto radiation and convection banks to dissolve the deposit layer and restore thermal performance without requiring a planned outage.
OPTIFLOW®
Water-side cleaning of heat exchangers and condensers by controlled injection of a chemical product. Designed for shell-and-tube heat exchangers, the process removes fouling from cooling water system loops. It eliminates the need for blinding or mechanical work and remains fully compatible with all types of metallurgy and deposits.

Offline Cleaning: Deep Restoration During Planned Shutdowns
NEUTROL®
Fire-side wet cleaning of furnaces and boilers by spraying a chemical solution to remove and neutralize acidic deposits. Applied during planned shutdowns, it dissolves the scale and combustion residues on fire-side surfaces, restoring heat transfer efficiency and preparing equipment for inspection.
ABRAMEX®
Fire-side cleaning of boilers and heat exchangers using offline dry blasting with abrasive media. A dry process that generates no liquid effluent, eliminates chemical corrosion risk, and restores optimal heat transfer efficiency.
Internal Chemical Treatment®
Water-side and process-side cleaning of boilers, furnaces, heat exchangers, spheres, tanks, columns, reactors and piping systems. Mobile and modular processes for descaling, degreasing, pickling, deoxidation, decontamination and passivation.
Benefits
Time-saving
Minimal dismantling required and fast chemical reactions mean interventions fit into tight maintenance windows.
Continuity
Many of our processes can be performed while operations continue, with no production shutdown required.
Accessibility
Chemical cleaning reaches complex internal areas without dismantling equipment or making major mechanical modifications.
Precision
Targeted chemical action treats the specific fouling type without damaging surrounding materials.
Bespoke
Our products and procedures are adapted to each type of deposit and each piece of equipment.

A High Return on Investment and a Cleaner Operation
Every CTP Environment intervention is designed to deliver a measurable return on investment. By restoring thermal performance to its nominal level, we directly reduce fuel and energy consumption, cutting your operating costs from the moment the equipment goes back online.
For our oil and gas and downstream clients, safety is non-negotiable. Our processes comply with the most stringent industrial safety requirements, and our crews are trained to operate safely on active industrial sites.
As a company committed to environmental responsibility, we select formulas compatible with sensitive materials, monitor chemical parameters in real time, and provide integrated effluent neutralization so all cleaning waste is properly managed on your site.
